August 4, 2026

HARRISBURG – Rep. Joe Hamm (R-Lycoming/Sullivan) announced a grant of $422,969 has been awarded to Montoursville Borough for a traffic signal modernization project.

The funding will be used to improve the traffic signal at the intersection of Broad Street and Willow Street/Winters Lane.

“This is a valuable investment in ensuring the safety of motorists and pedestrians, as well as one that will improve the flow of traffic on Broad Street in Montoursville,” Hamm said. “As a member of the House Transportation Committee, I was honored to support this grant request and look forward to installation of the upgraded traffic signal at this intersection in Montoursville Borough.”

The grant was awarded through Pennsylvania’s Green Light-Go program, which provides state funding to municipalities for traffic signal and other improvements designed to enhance safety and mobility.
